Life Sciences Unit: Research Results:
Gallery Evaluation
The new Life Sciences Gallery tells a number of compelling and important stories. In cooperation with staff in the education area, a gallery evaluation program is being developed to assess how well these stories are coming across. Part of this program is based on how visitors are reacting to the exhibits. Where the storyline deals with human impacts and sustainability, early results suggest that visitor anxiety levels are reduced where displays allow people to reflect about the intrinsic value of their social and ecological communities.
