Research Interests
My research interests centre on the ecology and conservation of prairie fauna. The Canadian prairie presents many challenges to the persistence of its indigenous species, from anthropogenic factors to extreme weather and climate to “natural” ecological community interactions. To identify the significance of particular factors on limiting populations, my studies address ecological questions related to predator/prey interactions, foraging behaviour, habitat selection, and dispersal behaviours.
I am interested in a wide range of taxa, with a particular curiosity for birds of prey, small mammals and snakes. |
