News Articles: Savouring Success
On November 17th, The Royal Saskatchewan Museum shone in the dazzling sunlight and balmy temperatures at Regina’s 2002 Santa’s Parade. In its third year of participation, the RSM float won “Best Community Float”. In keeping with the Parade theme, “Savour The Season”, the RSM Exhibit Production staff constructed a fanciful gingerbread house. Twelve adorable gingerbread children waved from the windows. Munchie danced to the lively tunes. And fourteen volunteers walked alongside giving out candy canes and invitations to come into the RSM after the parade for hot chocolate, donuts and a movie. By all accounts, it was a tremendous success. Way to go RSM! And happy holidays to all.
