Celebrating Regina's 100th Anniversary at the 2003 Santa's Parade

The RSM Express chugged down the streets of Regina on November 23rd in the 2003 Santa's Parade. The Royal Saskatchewan Museum picked up the prize for "Best Community Float" for the second year in a row (view the 2002 winner). WAY TO GO RSM!

Children in engineer's hats and tooting train whistles waved from the windows of the locomotive. Munchie danced to the lively tunes. And volunteers walked alongside, giving out candy canes and invitations to come into the RSM after the parade for treats and entertainment. By all accounts, it was a tremendous success. Despite the cold temperature, the spirit of "The Little City That Could" showed its warm heart with crowds of spectators in the mood for Christmas. The Royal Saskatchewan Museum wishes you a very happy holiday season!
