News Articles: Museum Gets National Award

On August 13, 2002, as part of an international conference in Montreal, the Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication (EECOM) recognized the Life Sciences Gallery of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum with the first-ever award of excellence for a government agency.
The Gallery was singled out for dioramas that illustrate the living heritage of Saskatchewan, for a storyline that links the province to distant locations, and for timely displays in The Human Factor about the underlying cause of regional and global issues and the importance of shrinking our ecological “footprints”.
A big thank you to EECOM and everyone who made the Gallery possible!
